John Lally International Foundation was set up to carry on the environmental improvement work, started in York, England, where we had created a community woodland on a disused rubbish (garbage) site. We were inspired by the memory of a friend and fellow environmentalist, John Lally, who died in 1995.
We seek to initiate and help in developing countries in providing sustainable solutions that will benefit people and the environment. We do not seek “to own” the projects we are involved in, the projects must “belong” to the people in the areas of operation.
Traditional Handcrafts, Computer Training, English Lessons, Primary Education
First Aid Training, HIV/Aids Awareness, Family Planning Advice
Sustainable Energy Generation, Garbage Collection & Recycling, Tree Planting
